All types of berries are nutritious and low in calories.
They all contain vitamin C, good for immune system function and for strong connective tissue. They are also rich in calcium, magnesium, and potassium.
Basil has always been known for its therapeutics benefits. It provides mineral salts, like calcium and phosphorus, which help for the development of bone tissues.
Furthermore, basil is rich in vitamins C, and A, and also in camphor, which helps to clear respiratory tracts.
Here, Joe McCanta takes us through the tasting notes of the blend…
As a citrus, mandarin is full of vitamin C, and can help against tiredness.
Mandarins can help to struggle with obesity, and protect from certain forms of diabetes: indeed, they help to fight against the raise of bad cholesterol rates. If eaten regularly, mandarins can help to increase blood vessels strength.
Ginger has antioxidant qualities. It can help to fight against digestive disorders, and help reduce nauseas and vomiting (which can be effective for pregnant women especially).
Ginger can finally be used for joint pain.
Cardamom is known to have anti-oxidant, disease preventing and health promoting properties.
Cardamom is also a good source of minerals like potassium, calcium, and magnesium, that help control heart rate and blood pressure.
It is finally an excellent source of manganese and iron.
Thanks to their low-calorie content, and their carbohydrate rate, apples help controlling and reducing weight.
With 85% water content, apples enable the body to rehydrate and facilitate the elimination of toxins. Furthermore, apples are rich in vitamin C, which is great for the body.
Like apples, limes are rich in vitamin C, and also in mineral salts.
They can eliminate 30% of glucose in the blood, which can be effective for diabetes.
Finally, it appears that limes could reduce cancers risks, and slow the development of some cancerous cells.
Mint has always been considered as an effective way to fight against digestive disorders.
It can also be used to facilitate the sleep and helps us to relax.
Mint is rich in Vitamins A and C and also contains smaller amounts of Vitamin B2. Although mint may be consumed in small quantities, the vital nutrients obtained are still beneficial to health.
